HOCL as PPE

According to the World Health Organization, our frontline staff should be using Hypochlorous acid (HOCl) as a part of their 'CRITICAL COMMODITY'-listed PPE for Covid-19 v4 (and Ebola, and SARS, Mers, Zika etc.), together with the goggles, visors, alcohol-based hand rub, scrubs, heavy aprons...

The documents below evidence that Available Free Chlorine (AVC) in the form of hypochlorous acid (HOCl) is made from Sodium dichloroisocyanurate (NaDCC) tablets when dissolved in water.

  • Hypochlorous acid therefore is on the World Health Organization's Covid-19 v4 Disease Commodity Package listed as 'PPE for Health Care Facilities', listed as 'NaDCC'.
  • Hypochlorous acid is the most powerful and safest viricidal sanitiser available. It is being used for fogging and decontamination around the world in the battle against Covid-19.
  • Hypocholous acid kills pathogens quickly and non-toxically with an unrivalled kill rate.
  • Hypocholous acid makes up part of our immune systems and is safe for topical use on skin, and is safe at low concentrations for  use in eyes, nasal cavities and as a gargle.
  • Hypocholous acid should be issued to our frontline keyworkers for their personal use and protection from Covid-19 during this pandemic.
  • If our frontline keyworkers were decontaminating themselves and their equipment with HOCl the rate of infection in the health care sector would reduce dramatically.
